A scent of novelty continues to blow on the ski area
A major project was initiated last year with the completion of the Chabrières télémix,
the snow mat in Les Claux, the extension of the snow-making network and the start of work on the new Peynier hill reserve.
The effort continues this season...

2 ski lifts replaced by a detachable 6-seater chairlift
A variant of the la Rochette trail will allow a return to the snow front. Thanks to this new slope, skiers of all levels will be able to access the entire ski area via the village of Vars Sainte Marie sector of Peynier. The budget is €7 million.
New pedestrian/snowshoe trail
In addition, on foot or on snowshoes, holiday-makers can take the new Bois Noir chairlift to enjoy a brand new trail located along a valley in the heart of the mountain.
The extensive ski area, with a difference in altitude of 1100 m, will be a real playground for ski enthusiasts thanks to playful skiing practice.
The ice cave
Be prepared for a few surprises!
The cave will have 30 sculptures in snow or ice crystal made by sculptors from all over Europe.
The interior of the cave is made up of a network of about 100 metres of galleries:

The Ecrins carpet
The Point Show snow front is being modernised and this winter will be fitted with a carpet to replace the Ecrins baby.
