A look at the latest additions to the Vars lift network!
The second section of the Chabrières telemix line, Vars Speed Master is a detachable 6-seater chairlift providing access to the highest point of the ski area (skier and pedestrian access). This new section made it possible to dismantle 2 machines and remove the iron from the mountain area.
This axis also makes it easier to get to the top of the speed ski run, a true sporting landmark of the resort, where the view from the chairlift is guaranteed to be breathtaking!

Pedestrians can reach the summit of Chabrières to discover a 360° panoramic viewpoint from Mont Ventoux to Mont Blanc and watch the legendary departures from the top of the speed ski run during international competitions.

With the arrival of this new machine, an entire sector has been remodeled to increase your comfort and skiing time: widening of the Corniche Inférieure, artificial snow between the Pic de Chabrières and the Col de Crévoux, creation of a piste between l’Evasion and les Barres, deféraillage with the dismantling of the TSF de Crévoux and the TK de Chabrières.
Change of route for this historic Vars chairlift, which now departs directly from the Vars les Claux snow front.
More modern and comfortable, access is quicker so you can enjoy the descents with less time spent in transport.
