Free shuttles

Convenient, free and environmentally friendly, the shuttle buses allow you to make the most of your stay whilst minimising car use within the resort. Take advantage of the free shuttle service to travel easily between the resort’s various villages during the winter and summer seasons.

In winter

From 5 December 2026 to 11 April 2027

Throughout the winter season, free shuttle buses run between the four villages of Vars, providing easy access to the resort’s shops, accommodation, ski lifts and entertainment.

In summer

From 1 July to 31 August 2026

During the summer season, free shuttle buses serve the four villages of Vars as well as the Val d’Escreins, the valley’s iconic natural site.

A convenient way to reach the start of hiking trails, explore the various villages or enjoy summer activities without having to use your car.

Late-night shuttle buses

In winter only

During the school holidays and at key times during the winter season, late-night shuttle services are provided to make it easier for you to travel between the villages of Vars in the evening.
