Grande soirée du Nouvel An

Come celebrate the New Year in Vars at a festive and dazzling event in the heart of the mountains!

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., kids and adults alike can take part in a creative face-painting workshop on the snowfront to get ready to shine until the very end of the year. Starting at 6:00 PM, head to the refreshment stand for hot drinks to warm you up while you enjoy the entertainment.

From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, watch the traditional torchlight descent by the Vars ski instructors. With torches in hand, they trace a long ribbon of light across the slopes for a magical spectacle. From 7:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., it’s time for the snow groomers! These professionals, who prepare the slopes every night, will join you for the festivities. It’s a chance to get an up-close look at their impressive machines and the essential work they do for the ski resort.

At 7:15 p.m., be amazed by a fire show combining skill and artistic performance, before looking up at 7:30 p.m. to admire the fireworks that will light up the sky over Vars and the snow-capped peaks.

A warm and magical evening to enjoy the final hours of 2026 and welcome the New Year in a festive atmosphere, with family or friends!
