Accessible from the top of the Chabrières Télémix with a pedestrian pass, the Chemin de la Forêt is a challenging, ungroomed snowshoe trail reserved for hikers accustomed to navigating natural snow.
From the summit, head toward the mountain restaurant Le Chal’heureux. After crossing the Jas du Bœuf blue trail, turn right before the bridge and follow the Chemin des Cassettes ski trail downhill. The route continues through a quiet, unspoiled forest setting, offering a deep immersion in the heart of the snow-covered landscape. This descent through unspoiled nature gradually leads to the base of the slopes, near the Chabrières T-bar lift. An ideal hike for snowshoe enthusiasts seeking a more technical and rugged route.
