In the resort

There are several car parks spread across the different areas of Vars to make it easier to get to accommodation, shops, activities and ski lifts.

Number of car parks per village:

Vars Sainte-Catherine: 4 car parks
Vars Saint-Marcellin: 5 car parks
Vars Sainte-Marie: 4 car parks
Vars les Claux: 10 car parks

Several car parks have spaces reserved forpeople with disabilities, located ascloseaspossible to the resort’s main services and facilities.

To make the most of your stay, we recommend parking your car and then using thefree shuttle buses that serve all the villages in Vars. This is a practical, economical and eco-friendly solution that allows you to get around without having to use your car.

Good to know

In the event of heavy snowfall, snow-clearing operations may require vehicles parked in certain car parks to be temporarily moved. Please pay close attention to the signs in place and follow the instructions issued by the resort.

Car Park P5

Motorhomes & campervans

Located at Vars les Claux, carpark P5 is a space specially designed to accommodate motorhomes and campervans.

Free of charge and accessible without a booking, it has around50 pitches and a range of facilities for travellers:

a grey and black water disposal point
free water refill
toilets available
6 electrical sockets available

Use of the electrical points is subject to conditions. Tokens are on sale at the Tourist Office, €5 for 3 hours. Terms and conditions of use are available on site.

Thanks to thefree shuttle bus stopjust 500 metres away, you can easily reach the centre of Les Claux, the Col de Vars and other villages without having to use your car.

Charging points

Charge your electric vehicle in Vars

There are four charging points for electric vehicles available at the station:

2 charging points at Vars les Claux, near the health centre
2 charging points at Vars Sainte-Marie, in the heart of the village

Ideally situated, they allow you to charge your vehicle during your stay whilst enjoying the resort’s activities, shops and services.

As with parking, you can then make use of the free shuttle buses to travel between the villages, thereby limiting the use of your car during your holiday.
