There are a total of six electric mountain bike charging points available at the Télémix in Chabrières and next to the Caribou toboggan run.

Ski-cleaning stations and a tyre-inflation station are available: One at Les Claux, near the Télémix ski lift base One at Sainte-Marie, at the base of the slopes

Is the Vars Bike Park suitable for beginners?

Yes, there is one mountain bike fun zone located on the snow front of the Chabrières Télémix, designed for beginners to mountain biking and for children on balance bikes, featuring wooden obstacles at ground level. The Vars Bike Park comprises three green downhill (DH) tracks and three green cross-country (XC) and e-MTB routes.

How does the Vars–Risoul connection work for the Forêt Verte 360?

The route is accessible via a trail suitable for intermediate to advanced riders, so it is aimed at mountain bikers who already have good technical skills. The route may be closed in the event of bad weather, so please check the weather forecast before setting off. Please note: a ski pass purchased online or at the Vars ski lift ticket offices requires you to start from Vars, whilst a Risoul ski pass requires you to start from Risoul. Please ensure you set off from the resort where you are staying.

The Vars Bike Park offers over 200km of trails accessible via three ski lifts. Whether you’re a downhill enthusiast, a fan of long enduro stages or an e-MTB rider looking for new terrain to explore, the park offers a wide variety of trails and routes in a 100 per cent mountain setting.

Accessible via the Chabrières Télémix, the Mayt chairlift and the Sainte-Marie chairlift, the Bike Park lets you string together runs on trails designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced riders.

A mountain bike trail network linking Vars and Risoul

Vars and Risoul have joined forces to offer one of the largest mountain biking areas in the Southern Alps: the Forêt Verte 360. Thanks to the link between the two resorts, riders have access to 360 km of mountain bike trails, 42 tracks and routes, and6 ski lifts, all accessiblewith asingle pass.

At present, the link between Vars and Risoul is aimed at mountain bikers who already have a good level of technical skill (intermediate level).
