Created in 1964, this nature reserve is a haven of peace, preserved through the seasons. A veritable green lung for Vars, it stretches across wild landscapes criss-crossed by the Rif Bel torrent, a vein of flowing water that rises from the rocky heights culminating at 3385 meters above sea level. Autumn, although in transition, is beginning to weave its own special magic. The forests of larch, Scots pine and spruce gradually take on shades of gold, copper and bright red, transforming the landscape into a living tableau. Every day, the autumn palette intensifies, promising a unique spectacle on every visit.
The pure air and tranquility of the area make it a prime destination for hiking and wildlife observation in its natural habitat.
