NEWS

The Vars resort is continuing its 5-year multi-year plan it has set itself since 2019 with the creation of a telemix, 2 snowmats, and 3 detachable 6-seater chairlifts, including the latest additions for 2023: TSD Speed Master and TSD La Mayt.

The resort is not stopping there, as the upcoming 2023-24 winter season will see the birth of 2 new fixed-grip 4-seater chairlifts to replace the current Peynier chairlift. As part of the redevelopment of the sector of the same name, these 2 new modern lifts will link the Peynier sector to that of Les Claux.

The Peynier and Les Plans chairlifts

1 common departure point / 2 distinct arrivals on 2 different slopes

The Plans chairlift will serve as an “elevator” to reach the Claux slope and the main snow front, while the Peynier chairlift will see its arrival at the top of Peynier, the resort’s flagship sector known for its ski-forest” and freeride “spots”.
