Come and try the must-see attraction of any stay in Vars: the Caribou rail sledge and its sensational descent through the larch forest!
Guaranteed thrills this autumn! The Caribou toboggan run will be open during the All Saints’ Day holidays, from 18 October to 2 November, every day from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
With a length of 1,027m, the Caribou luge will take you on a whirlwind ride over 123m of vertical drop, with alternating twists, waves, bumps and chicanes.
The double-rail structure of this sled means you can enjoy the activity in complete safety and comfort.

Situated at the top of the resort towards the Col de Vars, in an exceptional setting, the Caribou sledge is accessible on foot or on skis directly from the ski area. From your toboggan, you can admire a breathtaking view of the resort and the Vars valley.
Equipped with lighting along its entire length, you can even enjoy this activity during the night-time openings every Friday during the February school holidays.
The sledge is open to children aged 3 and over.
Unaccompanied children must be at least 1m40 tall to be allowed on the Caribou sledge.

The sledge is located at the top of the resort on the way to the Col de Vars, at Le Fournet, near the P9 car park. It is accessible on skis via the Zakopane piste. To get there by shuttle bus, get off at the “Fournet” stop.
