Journée du Val d'Escreins : découverte du Petit Canada Varsinc

Program:
9.30am to 4.30pm: Chill zone with deckchair, molkky, slackline, spike ball, croquet and other activities - free access
9.30am to 12pm: Hiking outing around mountain plants. Come and discover the flora and fauna of our nature reserve with a Montagne Mélézin mountain leader. Ages 8 and over, suitable clothing and footwear. Places limited, please register with the Tourist Office.

10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Land art workshop, nature frame making, collective mandalas and nature mobile - artistic creations based on natural elements, to make on the spot and take home with you - free admission.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Role-playing game "cohabitation in the mountains" with TALA médiation environnementale - During this fun workshop, participants are invited to take on different roles in order to suggest ways of improving cohabitation between practices and uses in the mountains. Through the eyes of a shepherd, a mountain hut warden, a mountain biker or a representative of a nature protection association, creativity and consultation are the order of the day! - Ages 6 and up - Places are limited, please register at the Tourist Office.

12pm: Shared picnic - Come and share a convivial moment over a large picnic - Everyone brings something to eat.
2pm to 4:30pm: Orienteering race. As a team (or solo), come and compete against other teams in an orienteering race. Prizes to be won. Minors must be accompanied by an adult)
2pm to 4pm: Artistic landscape reading with TALA environmental mediation. Materials provided (brushes/paper/pencils/watercolor canisters), but you're welcome to bring your own! With science, paintbrushes and pigments, this workshop will enable you to discuss issues specific to the mountain environment, and in particular to the Val d'Escreins as a natural setting. - Ages 10 and up - Places are limited, please register with the Tourist Office.

2pm to 4:30pm: Nature stand with animal footprint games, sensory kim, seed can and vegetable paint making.

Don't forget to bring suitable sportswear and water to keep well hydrated.
