Vars les Claux is the bustling heart of the ski resort: several ski departure points dot the village, which stretches along the D902 towards the Col de Vars. Perfectly integrated into its larch forest, the resort offers a whole range of activities and entertainment, as well as human-sized shopping arcades for the pleasures of shopping.
All kinds of shops are represented: restaurants, sports stores, grocery stores, and boutiques to satisfy your every whim.

Practical info
A free shuttle service is provided by the commune of Vars to enable you to get around in and between the villages. This regular shuttle service gives you easy access to the villages and minimizes the use of your car during your stay.

If your accommodation doesn’t have private parking, we recommend you park your car in one of the parking lots at Vars les Claux and take the free shuttle service.
As the tourist office building is undergoing renovation work, our information point has been moved to the Télémix snow front in temporary premises. Our tourist advisors are on hand to welcome you every day during the summer season, from July 5 to August 31, 2025.
Outside these dates, we welcome you Monday to Friday at the Vars Sainte-Marie tourist office.
