The playground for mountain bikers has grown from just under 160 to over 200 km of routes and tracks of all kinds. Vars offersan unrivalled playground for all levels of mountain biker.

Vars Bike Park

The mountain bike adventure

If you’re a keen mountain biker, the Vars Bike Park is for you.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, with family or friends, don’t miss the chance to get on your two-wheeler and ride the 200kmof itineraries and trails that the resort has to offer this summer. Beginners can try their hand at mountain biking on the green and blue trails, while experienced cyclists can tackle the more technical and physical red and black trails.

Varied terrain

The Vars domain is a varied playground, offering a multitude of terrain: in the forest, on single track, in meadows or even under the ridges. You’ll have the chance to tour the area on two wheels and try out all kinds of disciplines: DH, enduro or cross-country. There are also two zones specially dedicated to mini-riders and beginners, with small wooden modules for perfecting your riding skills.

Around a hundred kilometres of marked DH, enduro and cross-country circuits accessible by ski lifts open every day of the summer from 4 July to 30 August 2026.

A Kid Zone:

In the Caribou car park, designed to introduce children to mountain bikes and draisienne bikes, with wooden modules made on site, at ground level: rocking bridge, small wall, footbridges, etc. This fun zone also has a skate park.

A Cool Zone:

At the top of the Chabrières telemix with double-slope wooden modules and 3 springboard bridges from easy to expert level.

Every day, there are 32km of downhill mountain biking between the summit of the Mayt in Vars and the shores of Lake Serre-Ponçon, with a 1,800m vertical drop. Most of the descent takes place in woodland, with plenty of rest and picnic areas.

A VTTAE route takes you on a magnificent loop through the heart of the Forêt Blanche estate. Between forests and ridges, this route offers an immersion into varied and unspoilt landscapes, ideal for a nature outing accessible to as many people as possible.

Whether you opt for a short stroll or a longer outing, you can adapt the route to suit you. Don’t forget to plan your battery autonomy.
