In Vars, every winter season is packed withexceptional events that bring the resort to life. On the sporting front, the spotlight is on speed skiing competitions on the famousChabrières run, and the French Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Championships, where adrenaline and spectacular performances are guaranteed. When it comes to music and festivities, the mountains become a unique stage: the season kicks off with Vars en Scène, now in its 18th year and presented in a festival format with three evenings, each with its own distinct theme, over the first three weekends of December. But the season in Vars also draws to a close with music, featuring a major free concert and entertainment to suit all tastes. Whether you’re a winter sports enthusiast, a freestyle fan or simply looking for fun and a friendly atmosphere, Vars has something to suit everyone!
