Speed Masters and World Championship

13 to 19 March 2026

At Speed Masters, the world’s best KL racers take to the slopes to reach breathtaking speeds and attempt to beat the world ski speed record set at 255.5 km/h by France’s Simon Billy. Join us from 13 to 19 March 2026 to see the ski rockets battle it out.

Speed Masters

The concept

After a 2025 edition marked by the dazzling victories of France’s Simon Billy and Italy’s Valentina Greggio, crowned world champions once again with speeds of 229.13 km/h and 225.73 km/h, the discipline is set to thrill once again from 13 to 19 March 2026.

The concept

The concept of the event is very simple: go as fast as you can to beat the world ski speed record. Quite simply, it’s the fastest ski race on the planet. Only the world’s best KLists are invited to this event. It’s one of the only opportunities these competitors have to take off from the top of the Chabrières piste and race down the mythical slope in its entirety.
