Escape Game
2pm-4pm – Vars les Claux snow front
Go in search of Father Christmas, who mysteriously disappeared just minutes before the big gift-giving ceremony. Places are limited, please register with the Tourist Office.
Aqua-training
2pm to 2.30pm – Vars swimming pool
Come and take part in an aqua-training session with bikes, trampolines, weights and flippers. Free activity, entrance fee for the pool with an experience or freedom pass. Information and registration on 06 41 41 39 36

Christmas snowshoe walk
10.15 am – Refuge Napoléon
Discover the snow-covered countryside on a snowshoe walk supervised by a mountain leader. This outing is accessible to all, combining nature, relaxation and learning about the fauna, flora and mountain environment. Places are limited, so please register with the Tourist Office. Snowshoes provided.
Le Grand Voyage de Noël – Christmas Show
16:30 to 17:30 – In front of the Vars les Claux Tourist Office
Christmas is approaching, and it’s a chance for young and old to (re)discover the traditional songs of this time of year. You’ll be invited to take part in the concert using a variety of instruments: claves, sistres, guiros, egg maracas… For ages 8 and up.
Santa’s toboggan ride
4.40pm – Meet at the bottom of Télémix
Everyone toboggan in hand for a giant descent! Santa will be there, and there’s a good chance he’ll lose some presents on the slope… Helmet and sledge with metal brakes compulsory, ski and snow boots forbidden, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Ski pass not valid: giant luge downhill pass.
Chamallow party
6pm – Vars les Claux snow front
Come and enjoy a delicious and convivial moment in the heart of the snow-covered landscapes! Toast your marshmallows by the fire, share laughs and sweets with family and friends, and enjoy a warm moment despite the cold.
WEDNESDAY 24 DECEMBER
First track
8.40am – Location to be determined when you register
The ski patrollers are passionate about their work and invite you to join them as they open the pistes: first tracks, safety, prevention… Places are limited, so bookings must be made at the first aid centre the day before. Level required: 3rd star. Valid ski pass required.
Visit to the snow factory
Free entry from 10am to 12pm – Snow factory, Clapier piste
Discover the job of a snow maker and the secrets of artificial snow! This visit is accessible via the Chabrières telemix with a valid ski pass.
A moment of tenderness with Dorlotte
2pm – In front of the Vars les Claux Tourist Office
Share a moment of tenderness with our mascot Dorlotte. Photos, hugs and smiles guaranteed for young and old alike.

New Year’s Eve Party
5pm to 7.30pm – Sainte-Marie
Christmas Eve evening begins with a luminous procession with the fairies in pink and white, followed by the spectacular arrival of Father Christmas in a snowcat . You can then immortalise this moment with souvenir photos with Santa, and enjoy the distribution of papillotes. There will also be a refreshment bar serving hot drinks. The evening will continue with a torchlit descent by the ski instructors, ending with a grand musical fireworks display before celebrating with family and friends.
