From experienced riders to daredevil beginners, there’s something for everyone in the ski area’s snow parks and fun areas. As a bonus this winter, the Eyssina park has been redesigned to include a new expert line and a new boarder cross.

There are more than 60km of groomed and waymarked trails (including a new itinerary at the top of the new Bois Noir chairlift) where you can enjoy all kinds of activities: walking, snowshoeing, fat biking or cross-country skiing.

You may have discovered this discipline last winter. Ski touring is on the up and is becoming a real sporting alternative for enjoying the great outdoors. This winter, an extra 4km of signposted itineraries will enable you to enjoy this activity in complete safety.

For almost 30 years, Vars has been the temple of the Kilometre Lancé. The world ski speed record was set here in 2023 by Frenchman Simon Billy, with a speed of 255.50 km/h. Every year, the world’s fastest skiers gather on the Chabrières piste to set the speedometers soaring.

Accessible on foot or on skis, the Caribou toboggan run has become a must for every stay in Vars. More than a kilometre of descent winding through the larch trees, mixing twists, waves and banked turns to sweep you off your feet between two runs.
