Located in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, La Mayt welcomes you for comfortable stays from spring to autumn.

Ideally positioned close to the shops and at the start of hiking, mountain biking, cycling and motorcycle trails. On the edge of the Forêt de Peynier, at the top of the village of Vars Sainte-Marie, this location allows you to enjoy the mountains to the full, far from the hustle and bustle of tourism, while remaining connected to nature.

Close to the legendary cols: la Cayolle, le Lautaret, le Galibier, le Restefond, Vars, l'Agnel and l'Izoard, offering cyclists, bikers and lovers of great mountain itineraries an ideal location for exploring the legendary Grandes-Alpes route. Not forgetting the fabulous Val d'Escreins.

La Mayt offers spacious, modern duplex apartments (T2 to T4/5) for 2 to 6 people. A ground-floor apartment is accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). Each apartment is meticulously furnished with warm decorations, bright living spaces and well-equipped kitchens: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, large combi fridge, raclette machines, ... and all the utensils you need for easy cooking. Baby facilities available on request. The apartments also feature a large-screen connected TV and free Wi-Fi.

To take full advantage of nature, some apartments have large south-facing terraces on the edge of the Peynier forest, offering the ideal setting for relaxing and admiring the scenery. Linen provided, beds made up on arrival (changes available on request), and housekeeping can be arranged according to your preferences.

For outdoor enthusiasts, La Mayt offers direct access to mountain activities: hiking, trails, mountain biking, cycling, motorcycling (star-shaped road-book around Vars), cani-rando, wildlife observation, picnicking at altitude.

The secure bike and equipment storage area allows you to store your equipment in complete peace of mind. Private parking is also available to residents.

Dogs are welcome at La Mayt, provided they are well-behaved and have been informed of this at the time of booking. Certain breeds require prior authorization. For everyone's comfort, please have them relieve themselves outside the residence... they're sure to enjoy the walk!
