Early and continuous opening

The Vars ski area will welcome you from 06 December 2025 for the early and continuous opening of the Vars la Forêt Blanche ski area. All the information you need about this opening is already available, so all you have to do is get your skis ready and wait for the big day! We look forward to seeing you there.

The Vars la Forêt Blanche ski area will be open until 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday).

Open season!

The Vars ski area opens its slopes on 6 December 2025! This early and continuous opening is an invitation to get back to the mountains, skiing and fresh air right from the start of the season. Get ready to experience the adrenalin of the first descent and savour every moment on the slopes.

To celebrate the start of the season, a major fireworks display will illuminate the snow front on Saturday 6 December from 6pm, followed on Sunday 7 December by a musical parade and a festive stroll through the village of Les Claux from 10am to 2.30pm.
