In the Southern Alps
Situated at an altitude of between 1,650 and 2,750 metres, the ski area offers over 185 km of marked ski runs, linked by 36 modern ski lifts.
In recent years, the resort of Vars has undergone a major modernisation of its ski area, with the replacement of key ski lifts, significantly reducing waiting and ascent times for skiers whilst allowing for more time on the slopes. The creation of new runs now offers skiers the chance to enjoy a more varied and extensive ski area, suitable for all levels of ability.
The expansion of the area covered by artificial snow ensures optimal snow cover throughout the season.
