On one side, the tobogganing rail awaits you, ready to hurtle down the slopes at top speed. If the adrenalin isn’t enough for you, head for the Vars Mountain Kart: a funny machine that’s part kart, part racing car, and promises some memorable descents. Have all those thrills got you hot? Then head for the outdoor pool, where you’ll be surrounded by the mountains.

Get your bearings while having fun, move around while being amazed

How about turning the mountains into a life-size exploration area? All you have to do is put on your trainers! The advantage? Orienteering trails aren’t just for compass experts. On the contrary, they’re the perfect opportunity to discover the mountains in a different way, with family or friends.

Departing from the Télémix at Chabrières, three easy routes (for 3-4 year-olds) turn walks into giant treasure hunts, ideal for learning to find your bearings while having fun. For the more experienced, two other routes departing from the Mayt chairlift offer a more challenging combination of strategy, map reading and breathtaking panoramas. And for lovers of the wilderness, head for the Val d’Escreins, our Little Canada varsinc, with three fun and educationaltrails for the whole family to discover.

There’s also a high-altitude sports trail around Lac de Chabrières. From slalom to double ladders, balance beams, giant steps and parallel bars, it’s all about movement, activity and breathing! Accessible to all, it’s the perfect place for an invigorating break!
