Quality commitment

Destination of Excellence

The Vars Tourist Office has been awarded the Qualité Tourisme mark, which will be renewed in September 2019.
Created by the French government, the aim of this mark was to improve the quality of tourist services in France.

Qualité Tourisme has since been replaced by the Destination d’Excellence mark, which continues and strengthens this approach. The Vars Tourist Office is now involved in the Destination d’Excellence certification process, which includes more stringent requirements in terms of quality of welcome, sustainability, accessibility and continuousimprovement.

This mark selects and unites, under a single symbol, the quality initiatives undertaken to ensure your satisfaction in hotels, tourist residences, holiday villages, campsites, restaurants, cafés and brasseries, seasonal rental agencies, tourist offices, places to visit and outdoor activities.
